Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Systems Integrator, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Planning, implementing, testing, documenting and maintaining solutions to total systems and interfaces using internally created or commercial off-the-shelf products.
  • Providing a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.

You should have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
  • Providing optical service.
  • Wave Division Multiplexer design and implementation (DWDM).
  • Legacy optical carrier equipment, Synchronize Optical Network.
  • Data communications networks to manage devices.
  • Optical engineering.
  • Fiber optic systems.
  • Working in the field of optics and network integration.
  • Using the Agile software development methodology.
  • Producing reports and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or SharePoint.
  • HTML and browser compatibility baselines.
  • Customer service skills responding to senior level requests.


Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
  • Working both independently and on teams with minimal oversight.
  • Exhibiting skills and capabilities with computer systems to produce ad hoc reports on project activity and Project Schedules for consumption by senior management.
  • Exhibiting oral and written communication skills across multiple customer communication needs: writing reports, meeting minutes, point papers, memos, and briefings.
  • Coordinating between the customer and customer partners and responding to all clients from the new-hire technician to high level staff and all in-between, for all customers who subscribe to the network.
