Summary:
The Regional Lead serves as the technical and business operations lead for their assigned region, overseeing medical logistics functions including advanced medical supply chain activities and biomedical equipment maintenance. This role functions as the contract's Business Manager, providing support in financial management, administration, procurement, travel, logistics, quality assurance/control (QA/QC), and staff compliance, while also acting as a liaison to government stakeholders.

Summary:

This role functions as the contract's Business Manager, providing support in financial management, administration, procurement, travel, logistics, quality assurance/control (QA/QC), and staff compliance, while also acting as a liaison to government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist the Program Manager in overall contract oversight, ensuring compliance with performance requirements and contract terms.
- Serve as Business Manager, supporting financial, administrative, training, QA/QC, procurement, and logistical functions.
- Verify that site leads manage WRM assets in accordance with Air Force standards.
- Conduct QA/QC site visits across western region locations.
- Support AFMED senior leadership in logistical planning, documentation, and space/workforce optimization.
- Ensure contract staff meet experience, training, and certification requirements.
- Analyze and review QC reports and site visit summaries; provide data/trend insights to leadership.
- Attend planning sessions; document and submit minutes within two working days.
- Present monthly CDRL and PMR updates.
- Respond to urgent inquiries from government and site leads.
- Oversee regional QA/QC programs and participate in business development initiatives.
- Travel up to 30% required.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and DOD Medical Material Information Systems (MMIS).
- Skilled in QA/QC management, logistics planning, and operational oversight.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis and trend interpretation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid (remote/onsite) environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least 10 years of experience in medical materiel, facilities, or biomedical equipment repair management.
- OR 15 years of directly relevant experience without a degree.
- Experience with QA/QC, logistics oversight, and financial/process administration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project development experience and background in Medical War Reserve Materiel (WRM) operations.
- Quality assurance and business management experience with ECMM operations.
- Experience with government contract reporting and funding/resource oversight.
- Familiarity with Air Force medical logistics standards and operational support frameworks.
