We are currently seeking DevSecOps Engineers to join our team based in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Provide automation configuration with tools like Ansible to automate build and configuration processes
- Develop Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process, tools and deployment strategies
- Build and deploy containers and containerization technologies
- Enable and lead Agile management and collaboration, leveraging tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
- Learn new technologies and tools to enable rapid and secure, scalable capability
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship with an active US DoD Secret Security clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Experience working with cloud technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud
- Experience with Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services
- Communicates effectively, both internally and externally to team
- Ability to write or review software code (Java, Python, etc.)
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices
- Must be able to support an in-person, closed-area work environment 100% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiar with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and Nexus repositories
- Familiar with configuration management tools, i.e., Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, others
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Security + CE)
- Some knowledge of programming and scripting experience in a Linux environment
