Presidential Executive Aircraft - Aviation Quality AssuranceJob Description
The Presidential and Executive Airlift Directorate comprises approximately 300 employees located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Tinker AFB, and is responsible for the life cycle management of not only the VC-25B, but the VC-25A - current Air Force One - as well as a host of executive and special mission aircraft including the C-12, C-21, C-32, C-37, C-40, and E-4B, which until recently were part of the Mobility and Training Aircraft Directorate. This position will be located at JBSA.
Specialized Education and Experience
The Contractor shall have Aviation Quality Assurance and/or manufacturing experience and Commercial and/or Military aviation maintenance experience. Experience with the Boeing 747-8i airframe is a bonus but not required.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies and data related to production. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.

Ability to gain and maintain a secret clearance is required but the ability to gain a Top Secret is desirable.
Physical Requirements
Possible exposure to fumes and irritants normally encountered in an industrial or shipboard environment. May involve gathering of data while observing machinery or equipment operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
- Assist the VC-25B program with verification of compliance aircraft modification to AS9100.
- This position will conduct recurrent in-process reviews, analysis of data, quality assurance audits, production program reviews, and provide decisional support documentation and recommendation(s) of analysis findings
- Must be able to work independently to advise the government
- Will provide hands on monitoring of the VC-25B production and attend daily Boeings Tier 3 status meeting.
- Collaborate and coordinate with aircraft quality assurance leadership to VC-25B build progress
- The Contractor shall assist in reviewing corrective action responses for effectiveness and provide acceptance or rejection reasoning that agrees with USAF quality processes
- Candidate must have an active Secret clearance to start
