Graham Technologies is seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to support the development and management of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings and as-built utility maintenance documentation. This role will involve working with a variety of industry-standard tools-including AutoDesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ESRI, and ArcGIS-to produce high-quality deliverables for facilities planning and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, drive critical initiatives, and ensure alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) and Marine Corps standards and regulations.

Location: Kaneohe Marine Base (Kbay), Hawaii

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain CAD drawings, utility maps, and as-built documentation using AutoDesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ESRI, and ArcGIS software.
  • Contribute technical input to Charrette reports, Facility Analysis Concept Designs (FACDs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for MILCON and FSRM projects.
  • Coordinate closely with MCB Hawaii Engineers, NAVFAC HI FEAD, and base maintenance teams to align construction activities with planning objectives.
  • Distribute and validate design plans, specifications, and project turnover documentation to the appropriate maintenance divisions.
  • Review and assess changes to planning standards, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), federal laws, Executive Orders, and DoD regulations; provide recommended updates as needed.
  • Support the MCBH Facilities Department in applying UFCs, technical guidance, and regulatory requirements to project planning and development.
  • Identify gaps or conflicts in U.S. construction standards and collaborate with the Facilities Department to address and resolve them.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD drafting and design.
  • Solid understanding of DoD and Marine Corps regulations relevant to facilities planning and engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ESRI, and ArcGIS software tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting military facilities planning and engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and other construction technical standards.
