The Raytheon Software Engineering Team is looking for a Senior Full Motion Video (FMV) Software Developer. As the FMV SW Developer you will work as part of a scrum team in an agile development environment to develop and sustain the operational code base. This is an onsite role based in Richardson ,TX.
What You Will Do
This position will support the sustainment and modernization of a FMV video streaming capability supporting a large quantity of simultaneous video streams.
This individual will implement and maintain the processing, remediation, and routing of video streams to support a key real-time mission capability as part of an Agile development team.
The individual will be expected to interact with the operations team and other programs to identify root cause and support resolution of issues discovered with the FMV capabilities in operations.
Obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs.
Qualifications You Must Have
-Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
-Experience with Java and C++.
-Experience with networking including TCP and UDP protocols.
-Experience with MPEG-2 or other FMV transport streams (H.264, H.265, MPEG-4)
-Experience with KLV (key length value) metadata and MISB standards.
-Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
-Experience/Exposure to Moving Target Indicator (MTI) formats and data
-Experience with GStreamer, FFMPEG, or other video libraries
-Experience or familiarity with Agile development methodologies
-Strong written and verbal communication
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues
