Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite/Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Clearance Level: TS/SCI
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (Computer Science, IT, Engineering)
Salary: $100,000-$120,000

We're looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator to join our team supporting mission-critical systems in a hybrid cloud environment. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Linux systems, and offers the opportunity to work on highly secure, impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, manage, and operate workloads on AWS (GovCloud and Commercial).
- Utilize AWS Console and CLI for cloud operations.
- Implement and maintain security controls to ensure system compliance (e.g., STIGs).
- Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework to optimize performance and reliability.
- Manage and support Kubernetes clusters (EKS), Lambda, Diode, and other AWS tools.
- Analyze system requirements and develop detailed documentation, models, and procedures.
- Collaborate across engineering and security teams to improve cloud operations and security posture.
Required Skills
Required Experience:
- 10+ years in IT systems administration with strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux (RHEL preferred) platforms.
- Proven experience maintaining AWS cloud environments, including patching, upgrades, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, specifically Amazon EKS.
- CKA certification or equivalent training with at least one year of experience in containerized platforms.

- RH294: RHEL Linux Automation with Ansible
AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate
IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+, etc.)
