Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is seeking a Planning and Development Lead to join our team in Camp Humpries, South Korea. The Planning and Development Lead provide strategic communications planning and suppport including crisis response, excercises, knowledge manegement, and joint coalition IT coordination, with emphasis on IT policy development and mission readiness supporting for USFK J6. The project associated with this position is currently in the proposal stage.

Trace Systems is seeking a Planning and Development Lead to join our team in Camp Humpries, South Korea. The Planning and Development Lead provide strategic communications planning and suppport including crisis response, excercises, knowledge manegement, and joint coalition IT coordination, with emphasis on IT policy development and mission readiness supporting for USFK J6. The project associated with this position is currently in the proposal stage.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide support for USFK/CFC/UNC plans and exercises.
- Develop, write, and brief communication portions of theater crisis, contingency, and exercise plans and planning efforts.
- Coordinate crisis, contingency, and exercise communications support for Joint and Coalition forces including Wartime Host Nation Support requests and TPFDD and RSOI planning.
- Prepare and recommend updates and changes to existing policies and plans related to communications execution, employment, and support.
- Participate in USFK working groups, such as the Future Ops WG, BOS-I WG, Battle Rhythm WG and provide communications expertise including facilitating communications specific working groups as required for planning activities.
- Coordinate development & revision of USFK Communications Directorate METLs/JTPs, and recommend changes to UNC/CFC equivalents.
- Provide and administer knowledge management solutions to support joint and coalition participation CFC/UNC/USFK communication specific working groups.
- In coordination with the JNCC, integrate a USFK Mission Essential Services List (MESL) and a Joint Prioritized Restoral List into communication planning activities.
- Develop exercise scenarios simulating degraded communications, contribute to Battle Books/AARs, and provide support for exercise assessments.
- Coordinate with CFC/UNC/USFK Components and higher echelons to support communications planning efforts.
- Develop and refine Crisis Action Standard Operating Procedures (CASOPs), OPLAN, and CONPLAN annexes (C & K) through participation in war games and exercises.
- Consolidate planning efforts and exercise assessments into monthly readiness reports through DRRS.
Minimum Qualifications
- An active, in-scope US Government issued Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required .
- Able to coordinate combined, coalition, and joint network requirements into theater operational plans.
- Possess an understanding of required support activities to build, operate, sustain, maintain, extend and employ C5ISRT Capabilities across US Networks and Mission Partner Environments in crisis, contingency, and exercises.
Education
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science or related discipline or at least 3 years planning experience on a General officer's staff.
