The Junior Computer Network Support Specialist will assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's systems infrastructure. This entry-level role supports the design and deployment of hardware and software systems, monitors network performance, and performs a variety of technical tasks under the guidance of senior IT staff. The ideal candidate will be familiar with standard IT concepts and eager to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.

Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $76,000.00 to $85,500.00 annually.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in the planning and engineering of network and systems infrastructure.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components.
- Monitor system and network performance, identifying and reporting issues as needed.
- Perform routine troubleshooting and support tasks for end users and IT systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and support activities.
- Collaborate with senior team members to support infrastructure upgrades and projects.
- Apply standard IT practices and procedures to accomplish assigned goals.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of network protocols, hardware components, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN environments and common IT tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- IAT Level I Certification
- Must have Top Secret (SCI Eligible)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in federal or defense environments.
- Industry standard technical and network certifications.
