Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Systems Engineers to support a high-impact government customer. This technology-focused role involves designing and managing enterprise computing infrastructure, including cloud services, network access, virtual applications, and secure computing environments across multi-cloud platforms.

You'll be a key contributor in building modern, secure, and scalable cloud architectures and working with cross-functional engineering teams in a mission-critical setting.
Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in IT systems engineering
  
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (preferred)
  
• Strong experience across AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure, including:
  
  • AWS: EC2, Security Groups, VPCs, ENIs, Elastic & Ephemeral IPs
    
  • Azure: Resource Groups, NICs, NSGs, VNets, Virtual Machines
    
  • GCP: Compute Engine, Firewalls, VPCs, Network Interfaces
• Hands-on understanding of Terraform for cloud orchestration across providers
  
• Solid Linux experience: package management, navigating filesystems, running scripts, managing system services
  
• Software development experience with Python 3
  
• Version control using Git
  
• Familiarity with DevOps, GitHub, and development in Java and Python
  
• Comfortable conducting security reviews of applications and infrastructure
  
• Collaborative team player, able to work with diverse technical skill sets

Preferred Skills & Technologies

• Infrastructure automation tools: Docker, Vagrant, Podman
  
• Build automation platforms: Jenkins, Maven
  
• Experience with REST API development using FastAPI, Flask, or Django
  
• Familiarity with Perl, Shell, Bash scripting
  
• Exposure to Ansible, Kubernetes, and Linux system configuration
  
• Cloud architecture experience with AWS, Oracle, or Google Cloud
  
• Programming experience in Java, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, and Bash
