The pay range for this position in California is $190,000/year to $220,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. Your essential job functions will include, but may not be limited to:
- Managing key integration activities that will support the delivering of system-level capabilities.
- Liaising with the Government program leadership to oversee requirements development and solutioning for future operations.
- Coordinating and managing information and integration issues across the multiple Capability Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) that are focused on delivering different capabilities across the C2 Acquisition Delta.
- Leading integration teams and working groups that identify, manage, and coordinate issues between the JCAs.
- Performing systems integration tasks as defined in Delta documents including the Enterprise Systems Engineering Plan (ESEP) and Enterprise Test and Evaluation Master Plan (E-TEMP).
- Evaluating prime contractor plans and schedules, and identifying disconnects between programs.
- Providing technical services for program reviews and integrated schedule development/ management.
- Providing technical evaluations and guidance for the development of key documents to include, but not limited to, Capability Development Documents (CDD)s and Interface Control Documents (ICD)s.
- Managing and maintaining the configuration of the definitions and criteria for the capability increments.
- Managing and maintaining the traceability between requirements, verification, and capabilities.
- Documenting engineering activities, including analyzing data, writing reports, and making recommendations based on findings to the Government leadership.
- Developing and communicating roadmaps for programs and associated technologies and product lines.
- Establishing trusted and influential relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience.
- Experience working with DoD or IC acquisition organizations.
- Experience working on or managing a SEIT or Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contract.
- Demonstrated experience with the development of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (Zachman, TOGAF, DoDAF, UAF, etc.).
- Experience with aspects of systems engineering such as requirements elicitation, analysis, derivation and traceability, functional analysis and allocation, WBS, trade studies, modeling and simulation, metrics, risk management, integration and test, verification and validation.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, can accomplish high-level tasks independently, is skilled in problem definition, and works well with other team members and customers.
- Demonstrated record of successfully taking ownership and responsibility for projects.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, specifically attention to detail along with effective time and project management skills.
- Experience with presenting and communicating technical data to various audiences (government and leadership audience experience preferred).
- Willingness to mentor colleagues.
- Traveling up to 25% of the time, mostly to CONUS locations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working at Space Systems Command (SSC) or HQ USSF.
- Knowledge of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) architectures, systems, networks, interfaces and data flows.
- Experience in Multi-Domain/Multi-Level Security architectures.
- Experience working on-site in a government client environment.
- Experience with Agile Software Acquisition Pathway (DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework).
- Familiarity with the software factory platform diagrams.
- Working knowledge of networking, communications, and kill chains.
- Knowledge and experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, including daily standups, retrospectives, demos/reviews.
- Capability to assume a leadership role during reviews and technical meetings.
- At least 2 years of Special Access Programs (SAP) and/or TS/SCI experience.
Education Requirements:
- BS in related STEM field.
- MS in the same, or equivalent experience and/or certifications, Desired.
Security Clearance Level Required:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility is required for this position.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
