What You'll Get to Do:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will help us build a reliable, repeatable, and cloud-agnostic CI/CD pipeline that enables containerized applications to be deployed across AWS, Azure, and tactical edge devices (such as Klas Voyager and Azure Stack Edge). You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure for a diverse set of modern web-based business systems applications capable of rapid remote deployment to edge networks often operating in challenging environments across a wide array of difficult network and operational conditions.

What You'll Get to Do:

More About the Role:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to build, validate, and package containerized applications.
- Automate deployments to edge runtime environments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or GitHub Actions.
- Manage container registries and facilitate platform-agnostic image delivery (AWS ECR, Azure CR, Harbor, or offline).
- Create and manage infrastructure-as-code for hybrid deployments (AWS, Azure, Edge).
- Implement signing, validation, and verification for container artifacts.
- Integrate observability and logging mechanisms across runtime deployments.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience in hybrid environments.
- Proficient in CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, CodePipeline).
- Experience working with AWS and Azure, especially in building deployment pipelines.
- Comfortable working with air-gapped or low-connectivity environments.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and IaC experience (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Expertise in troubleshooting, log analysis, performance tuning, disaster recovery and backup/restore processes
- Comprehensive understanding of open-source container infrastructure including Docker, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, or Podman.
- Knowledge of Linux system configuration including package installation and maintenance, network interface configuration, and firewall configuration
- Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) including certificate management, renewal, revocation incorporating technologies like Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL) and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP)
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
- Experience with edge-first deployment models and K3s/MicroK8s.
- Familiarity with Klas Voyager, Azure Stack Edge, or rugged tactical devices.
- Background in DoD, GovCloud, or classified environments.
