What you'll do
As a Programs Manager, you will be a member of a highly capable team developing novel Low Earth Orbit (LEO) communication/sensing payloads and space vehicles in the RSM business area. RSM operates as a startup within Government Systems so a Program Manager will be required to take on multiple challenges and operate effectively through ambiguity. Core accountabilities include: managing cost and schedule performance on complex development programs; adopting continuous improvement; leading proposal opportunities; and leading emerging special programs.
The successful candidate will be able to develop customer relationships, guide engineering teams through complex developments, ensure customer requirements are satisfied and perform within cost and schedule.

Effectively guide product development teams through complex development issues, while ensuring customer requirements are satisfied within cost, schedule and quality constraints.

Salary range
$113,000.00 - $179,000.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $133,000.00- $200,000.00/ annually

What you'll need
- 8+ years of professional experience in Program Management or Program Direction.
- Proven experience with program: planning; monitoring and control; financial accounting; contracts; risk management; and earned value.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, science, or technical subject area.
- US government position. US citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain Top Secret SCI Clearance.
- Up to 25% domestic travel
What will help you on the job
- Security clearance with SSBI/SCI highly preferred.
- Experience with payload and/or electronics development for LEO applications.
- Experience with development of complex digital signal processing software and firmware.
- Master's degree in a relevant Engineering subject area.
- Ability to perform first-order systems level analysis.
Salary range
