Summary / General Description of Position:
ASRC Federal Cyber is looking for an Engineer to support the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Facility Operations and Readiness Centered Execution (GFORCE) program at Fort Greely, Alaska. This position plays a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of mission-critical infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of engineering experience in facilities, systems, or infrastructure environments, with a strong foundation in technical analysis, maintenance support, and compliance.

ASRC Federal Cyber is looking for an Engineer to support the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Facility Operations and Readiness Centered Execution (GFORCE) program at Fort Greely, Alaska. This position plays a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of mission-critical infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of engineering experience in facilities, systems, or infrastructure environments, with a strong foundation in technical analysis, maintenance support, and compliance.
Essential Duties and Job Functions
- Provide engineering support for operations, maintenance, and sustainment of mission-critical facilities and infrastructure
- Assist in planning, assessing, and executing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Analyze system and equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Participate in technical inspections, walkdowns, failure investigations, and repair validations
- Support the development and review of maintenance procedures, reports, and facility assessments
- Interface with technicians, subcontractors, and government personnel to ensure technical issues are addressed effectively
- Maintain awareness of safety, environmental, and security protocols and ensure all engineering support is in compliance
- Support coordination for third-party testing, upgrades, and warranty events
- Provide recommendations for process improvement, system upgrades, and lifecycle support planning
Job Requirements: Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on technical experience
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, specifications, and manuals
- Demonstrated professionalism and sound judgment under pressure
Preferred
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs
- Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), preventive maintenance strategies, or DoD infrastructure standards
- Knowledge of building systems, power generation/distribution, HVAC, or other complex facility systems
- Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., PCMS, SCMS), maintenance planning, or field engineering support
- Familiarity with predictive and reliability-centered maintenance concepts
- Ability to develop or review technical documentation, including reports, inspection findings, and maintenance procedures
- Experience working in a remote or high-security environment
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as Maximo
