We are seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Support to work on-site in Washington DC. This position requires an active Top Secret SCI clearance.
Overview:
This role is critical to ensuring the stability, security, and operational readiness of national security network infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will provide Tier I/II support, maintain security protocols, and assist with RMF and incident response activities under the direction of the Program Director.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user helpdesk support for national security systems.
- Assist in operating and maintaining the Department's national security network infrastructure and systems.
- Support RMF (Risk Management Framework) activities including security assessments and authorizations in accordance with client policies.
- Participate in security incident response and remediation processes.
- Maintain accurate logs, document issues and resolutions, and escalate tickets as needed.
- Interface with system/network administrators and security teams to resolve complex issues.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Certifications: Must possess at least one of the following DoD 8570.01-M Level I or higher certifications:
- CompTIA Security+ CE
- CompTIA A+
- Experience:
- Option 1: Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT/helpdesk support experience
- Option 2: Associate's Degree (AS/AA) in a related field AND minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Familiarity with RMF and security policies
- Experience supporting national security or classified systems
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure environment and respond to issues quickly and efficiently
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
- Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
- Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.
