Electrical Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support an intel program focused on supporting complex electronic and electrical systems . Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance post-start
• Collaborate with customers to define and document complex electronic/electrical system requirements
• Translate requirements into system, hardware, software designs, and interface specifications
• Perform system validation to ensure designs meet operational and functional needs
• Monitor supplier performance for integration and compliance
• Provide lifecycle support for fielded hardware and software, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies for potential application to business needs

Qualifications for the Electrical Engineer include:

• B.S. + 3 years or M.S. + 1 year in a relevant technical field
• System requirements analysis, schematic design, and hardware/software integration
• Familiar with RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP, Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, MIL-STD-1553
• Knowledge of military standards (MIL-STD-810, -461, -1472, etc.)
• Proficient in CAD and electrical schematic design
• Skilled in JIRA for project planning, cost/schedule tracking, and SOW execution

Compensation for the Electrical Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $110,000-120,000 **depending on experience**
