The Senior Computer User Support Specialist will provide advanced technical support and contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality operating system components. This role involves gathering and analyzing data, identifying root causes of technical issues, and proposing and implementing effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operating system internals, experience across various platforms and devices, and the ability to collaborate closely with project leads and engineering teams.

Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $76,000.00 to $85,500.00 annually.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Gather and analyze technical data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality components for operating systems and end-user environments.
- Provide advanced support for a wide range of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Collaborate with project leads, software engineers, and system administrators to ensure seamless integration and support of IT systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning of operating systems and applications.
- Maintain documentation of support procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Mentor junior support staff and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in user support and system administration.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with a wide range of end-user devices, platforms, and IT assets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of in-depth experience.
- IAT Level II Certification
- Must have active TS/SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in federal or defense environments.
- Industry standard technical network certifications.
