Help Desk Admin
- Manage and support government computer systems including Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), network segments, intranets, and data communication systems.
- Assist in the architectural design, modeling, and analysis of network infrastructure to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate in procurement decisions to upgrade hardware and software, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and security standards.
- Provide technical support for Special Access Programs (SAPs), including Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral networks, supporting DoD agencies such as HQ Air Force and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
- Offer end-user support by diagnosing, researching, and resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and network environments.
- Respond promptly to technical support requests via telephone, email, and direct personnel interaction.
- Document, track, and monitor support cases to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
- Install, configure, and maintain commercial software applications and system upgrades in accordance with computing standards.
- Maintain and update solutions database to accurately reflect problem resolutions and troubleshooting methods.
- Enforce IT policies and procedures, guaranteeing compliance with security and operational standards.
- Assist in provisioning new users within Identity and Access Management (IDAM) systems, including management of multi-level security LDAP profiles.
- Deploy and support computing devices such as desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and related peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on PCs, laptops, and Windows desktop applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
Compensation:
$40/hr to $50/hr.
