Senior Network Engineering Lead to support our Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department. As a member of the SEIT department you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site in San Diego, CA or Aurora, CO.
Responsibilities:
• Support the installation, integration, and testing of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom equipment used to further research efforts on superconducting microelectronic devices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate equipment issues to support system build-out and sell-off.
• Support the existing network to maintain connectivity and support large intel distribution
• Collaborate with the government customer to ensure that requirements and deliverables are met
Basic Qualifications for Sr Network Engineer Lead:
• Active TS/SCI with full scope poly
• 8 years of experience as a network engineer working on a classified program
• Strong understanding of traditional network engineering, routing and switching, firewall management
o Worked directly with the cyber
• Expertise in network security and cyber security to implement best practices and advanced protocols
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with a government customer
• Open to 70% OCONUS travel
Preferred Qualifications for Sr. Network Engineer Lead:
- CCNA or CISSP
- SATCOM network experience specifically for a ground/surface user
