Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance post-start

Role Overview

Global Services (BGS) is looking for a highly motivated Product Support Maintenance Engineer to join its Engineering Capability team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sustainment engineering activities across a range of aerospace programs. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support engineering changes, technical analysis, and maintenance documentation while ensuring high standards of supportability and readiness for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate complex engineering designs and changes to develop maintenance and repair strategies
  • Influence system and product designs to improve long-term maintainability and lifecycle support
  • Create system theory documents to promote shared understanding of technical architecture and components
  • Develop and apply fault isolation procedures to support timely diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Conduct detailed engineering analyses to validate maintenance data accuracy
  • Author and support logistics documentation, including ILSPs, PSAPs, MTAs, SERDs, LORAs, and LSAs
  • Collaborate with customers to provide technical solutions and evaluate maintenance processes
  • Design procedures and workflows to support product sustainment across life cycles
  • Lead and participate in working groups, project meetings, and cross-functional reviews
  • Use desktop software to analyze data and generate reports supporting engineering deliverables
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, program management, and customer support teams
  • Contribute to industry-level initiatives and internal best practices in aerospace product support

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, systems engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering or maintenance support
  • Experience interpreting aircraft engineering drawings and process specifications
  • Familiarity with technical manuals and experience using Technical Orders to maintain military aircraft

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced technical degree or additional certifications related to aerospace product support
  • Experience with Product Support Analysis (PSA) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) processes
  • Working knowledge of standards like GEIA-STD-0007 and MIL-HDBK-502A
  • Proficiency with LSA tools (e.g., SLICwave, EAGLE, Powerlog, Compass)
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems such as radar, avionics, hydraulic, propulsion, and environmental controls
  • Experience with commercial or military airworthiness certifications
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with cost accounting and experience supporting engineering project planning
  • Experience supporting legacy platforms such as the B-52 or AWACS is a plus.
