ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

We are currently seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our team based in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis, functional analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Generate reports and present to Government counterparts, defense contractors, and other cross-functional organizations
• Research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems
• Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, and/or machines

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship with an active US DoD Secret Security clearance is required
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5+ years of related experience
• Strong background in mechanical design, analysis and environmental testing
• Ability to conduct trade studies and present results in written format
• Computer aided design experience using Solidworks or equivalent CAD packages
• Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Specialty Engineering Experience: Environmental and/or Safety.
• Experience with mechanical overhaul procedure development at the equipment and system level
• Experience conducting analysis of mechanical components and structures involving launch equipment
