Geologics is seeking a Software Engineer with a TS/SCI for a role in Aurora, CO to provide strategic direction and technical expertise to Agile development teams.
REQUIRED
- Active TS/SCI Clearance is required on day one.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience developing object-oriented software using Java and C++.
- Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.
SKILLS PREFERRED
- Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, vehicle planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics.
- Experience leading software teams.
- Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology.
- Experience developing software using Python.
- Experience with software integration, cloud architecture, infrastructure/platform as a service, microservices, containerization, and web-based systems.
- Experience with AMMP, Cucumber, GIT, Khaos (M2C2 FD), Kubernetes, Oracle, Postgres, SonarQube, Weblogic, WIGS/Angular.
- Experience with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience working with full stack development.

- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems.
- Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
What You Will Learn
- A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design.
- Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
- Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.
- Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.
