QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) Manager, Security Specialist, to join our team at APG, MD in support of our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A).
Duties:
Manage Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
Ensure that all SCIF equipment and networks remain operational.
Maintain entry control, verify clearances via DISS, create badges, process incoming and outgoing visit requests, and manage personnel security actions.
Safeguard all classified material as well as the packaging and shipment of classified material.
Provide foreign travel briefings and SCI read-ons.
Schedule, set up, and provide support for video teleconferencing in SCIF.
Provide after-hours SCIF coverage.
Issue network accounts.
Change safe/door combos as needed.
Prepare FEDEX packages.
Access ETMS2 to retrieve and respond to higher HQ taskers.
Ensure that all SCIF equipment and networks remain operational.
Required Skills & Experience:
Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must have experience maintaining entry control, verifying clearances via DISS, creating badges, processing incoming and outgoing visit requests, and managing personnel security actions.
Direct experience with safeguarding of all classified material as well as the packaging and shipment of classified material.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Degree preferred in Security Management, Cyber Security, Computer Networking, Information Technology or related field.
At least eight (8) years related work experience is required is required.
Must have six (6) years of direct experience in managing Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
An additional four (4) years of direct work experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
Required Clearance:
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI eligibility
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.
Physical Demands:
Physical demands of this position include ability to:
Be independently mobile.
Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
