Job Description

Join a dynamic team at Advantage SCI and take an active role in supporting national security efforts as a Computer Operator III at Fort Campbell, KY. Under general supervision and following clear instructions, you will set up, operate, and monitor a variety of computer systems and peripheral equipment designed to process essential business, engineering, and scientific data. As part of the team, you will directly oversee the operations and functions of the Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG) at Campbell Army Airfield (CAAF), ensuring that all activities are in full compliance with FORSCOM Regulation 55-1, Unit Movement Planning, and other key regulations and procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities :
  • Monitor, track and document movement of chalks, personnel, equipment, buses, baggage trucks, 463L pallets and containers, arriving and departing by aircraft, railcars, barge decks, and trucks.
  • Document equipment loaded on railcars, barge decks, and/or trucks. Compile and forward data and reports to the installation operations center (IOC) and contracting officer or designated representative.
  • Maintain files of all required data and documentation.
  • Greet arriving aircraft and aircrew (loadmaster) to obtain or issue manifests, load plans and other required documentation.
  • Verify that briefings on hazardous material in checked and carry-on baggage and passenger antihijacking are accomplished.
  • Verify number of passengers shown on aircraft manifest. Verify and record personnel and baggage weight prior to airfield departure.
  • Assemble the following documentation (including but not limited to): final passenger manifest, anti-hijacking brief, anti-hazard briefing and certification, final aircraft load plan, hazardous materials documentation, packing list and sensitive item documentation.
  • Escort departing and arriving passengers to/from aircraft.
  • Ensure adequate bus transportation is available to transport passengers to/from unit areas.
  • Provide copies of the documents to aircraft crew and retain a file copy.
  • Provide or verify aircraft wheels up/down reports are submitted to IAW FORSCOM Reg 55-1.
  • Monitor GDSS/SMS to track all arrival and departing aircraft.
  • Interface and interact with airline representatives, unit representatives, higher headquarters and TACC.
  • Access, control and safeguard sensitive information and movement data.
  • Ensure operations mission sheets are completed and maintained daily.
  • Collect and maintain workload data.
  • Compile and provide reports as required. Update all vehicle and equipment logbooks daily.
  • Track movement and maintain files documenting the disposition of containers (TMRs and DA Form 3161).
  • Dispatch vehicles and MHE to ADACG employees daily.
  • Ensure all documentation for equipment, vehicles, containers, and logbooks are closed out at the end of the month.
  • Attend training and meetings as required.
  • Ensure employee safety briefings are conducted and safety is always observed in all areas and operations daily.
  • Provide daily and monthly reports as required to supervisors.
  • Answer customer inquiries at customer service counter or by phone.
  • Utilize and monitor radio communications during all transportation operations.
  • Issue keys to employees and maintain key control in accordance with established regulations at all times.
  • Conduct key control inventory once per quarter.
