The Judge Group is seeking a Field Installation Technicians to support a Voice over IP (VoIP) modernization (VMOD) initiative, encompassing Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Center (CC) capabilities. This role is critical to onsite operations at customer locations in Germany.
This is a 90 day engagement in Germany.
Requirements:
Active secret clearance or higher
Active Security+ certification
Active Passport
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys to gather deployment data (e.g., current and future floor plans, network layouts, power/space availability, user data, equipment for decommission).
Prepare detailed site survey reports, including rack elevation diagrams and cable/power routing plans.
Perform or support infrastructure remediation (e.g., rack installation, cabling, conduit).
Install equipment in labs and/or at customer sites.
Support equipment testing and configuration validation.
Uninstall and properly dispose of legacy systems.
Assist with end-user migrations (e.g., deskside or phone support).
Execute other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with:
Network integration and configuration
Troubleshooting (routing, switching, devices)
Equipment maintenance and updates
Site setup and relocation
Voice gateways and VoIP protocols
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with standard IT practices and terminology
Technical documentation and reporting experience
Highly motivated, self-starting, team-oriented work ethic
