  • Complete project tasks which include data collection, mining, data and text analytics, clustering analysis, pattern recognition and extraction, automated classification and categorization, and entity resolution to implement and enhance automated risk assessment.
  • Construct data engineering scripts and processes to support recurring ad hoc requests, AI/ML development, and reports.
  • Interpret analysis results and communicate findings and insights (e.g., mission impacts, limitations of findings/analytical confidence, analytical methods, and techniques employed) to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and written reports.
  • Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education qualifications in data science, information technology, computer science, business analytics, economics, statistics or mathematics
    • AS and 18+ years,
    • BS and 12+ years,

  • Experience leading a team of Data Visualization Analysts or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases and performing data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau or Qlik.
  • Proficiency in a programming language commonly used for data analysis, such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R and related packages for development and analysis.
  • Knowledge or experience with data wrangling, cleansing, and machine learning development processes.
  • Experience with statistical analysis techniques and tools (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing, clustering).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Databricks).
  • Understanding of data warehousing principles and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
  • Experience working within an Agile development environment.
  • High level of self-motivation, desire to deliver stellar solutions and willingness to work in a distributed team environment.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior to mid-level developers.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain DHS CBP suitability.

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
