We’re looking for a highly skilled VoIP Systems Administrator to support mission-critical operations at Offutt Air Force Base. In this role, you'll engineer and integrate cutting-edge Enterprise IT (EIT) solutions by designing and implementing hardware/software systems and intuitive human-machine interfaces. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient communication infrastructure in line with operational, safety, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Analyze and translate system-level requirements into integrated hardware and software solutions.
Lead the development, integration, and validation of voice and data systems using Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM).
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance human-machine interface design and usability.
Identify and resolve system limitations and constraints related to safety, cost, and compliance.
Develop and execute testing strategies, validation plans, and troubleshooting protocols.
Document technical specifications, test outcomes, and procedures clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering—or equivalent practical experience.
10–12 years of experience in systems engineering, VoIP infrastructure, or hardware/software integration.
Proficiency with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) and VoIP system design.
Strong understanding of human-machine interface integration in enterprise environments.
Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
IAT-Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+).
