The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead and support the effort to maintain the existing virtual infrastructure and work. You will be working with the program management team to ensure government requirements and interests are satisfied.
Responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership and direction to infrastructure program personnel
• Develop and document technical architectures, data workflows and work plans
• Make strategic system design and infrastructure decisions relating to the government virtual computer systems, identifying efficiencies and improvements
• Lead efforts to modernize the legacy government virtual computer systems
• Lead efforts to ensure system security compliance relating to controls and body of evidence requirements
• Collaborate with COTS product vendors to support system and application modernization and enhancements
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
• BA/BS degree and 7 years of experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 2 additional years of experience if AA/AS, or 4 additional years of experience with HS diploma
• TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance is required
• Experience providing operation and maintenance support for RedHat Linux systems to include vulnerability scanning and mitigation, system patching, PKI certificate management and writing scripts to achieve specific results
• Experience working in an AWS Cloud environment, using automated CD/CI capabilities such as Jenkins to deploy code, provision cloud services and secure systems
• Experience developing and directing the design, architecture and implementation of AWS Cloud based system in the Intelligence Community, leveraging RDS, EC2, S3, Lambda and Network Security services
• Experience with Agency provided web and application platforms to include JBoss and Tomcat
• Experience leveraging IC Agency provided foundational IT enterprise service offerings to meet Agency requirements
• Experience supporting AWS Cloud based system security and continuous monitoring requirements and mitigation techniques
• Experience operating in an Agile / Scrum based tasking and reporting environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
• Attention to detail
Must remain on the client site during Program core hours of 0900-1500
Desired:
• AWS Solution Architect Certification
• Experience working with production government systems
