The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced System Engineering Manager to add to our technical team in Albuquerque NM. This position requires travel in the continental United States for various projects. We are seeking candidates with experience performing the below responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight and implementation of complex engineering solutions for critical systems and capabilities, engineering and implementation of C4 systems, operations and maintenance of systems and subsystems.
  • Lead the requirements management, design, integration and testing of technologies specifically supporting the operational capability of senior leadership and supporting facilities.
  • Computer aided drafting and design (CADD) applications in support of technical services, CM and for overall C4 system/subsystem technical data management.
  • Utilize project management principles as outlined in PMI PMBOK and system engineering principles as outlined in INCOSE SE Handbook
  • Provides technical leadership and direction for the engineering department in support of CACI's strategic goals.
  • Provides career mentorship/development for supervisors and junior engineers.
  • Provide proposal development to include providing technical approaches as well as producing ROMS, BOEs and BOMs.
  • Produce technical analysis to include feasibility assessments, analysis of alternatives, root cause analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis etc.
  • Analyzes and resolves complex system of system (SoS) sustainment issues to include COTS obsolesces, End of Life, End of Sale and End of Support for subsystem components.
  • Perform Model Based System Engineering tasks.
  • Verify adherence to established installation standards and safety practices.
  • Act as a Quality Team Member , Configuration Control Team Member and Leadership Team Member
  • Must be able to lead the technical team in a highly dynamic, time constrained environment and be responsible for technical execution across the customer base.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active TS clearance, with ability to be briefed to SCI
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems
  • 3+ years of technical supervisory experience, leading an engineering staff
  • Must be familiar with DOD system development lifecycle processes and presenting technical solutions to senior govt. leaders.
  • Broad experience in electrical, mechanical and HVAC engineering principles associated with design and support of mobile and transportable C4 systems utilizing specialty engineering associated with EMP protection, reliability, human system integration etc.
  • Familiar with project management principles as outlined in PMI PMBOK
  • Familiar with system engineering principles as outlined in INCOSE SE Handbook
  • Must be experienced in proposal development to include providing technical approaches as well as producing ROMS, BOEs and BOMs.
  • Must be familiar with Model Based System Engineering.
  • Must be able to lead the technical team in a highly dynamic, time constrained environment and be responsible for technical execution across the customer base.


Desired:
  • MS in engineering, science, computer science, computer engineering or information systems.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (State of NM)
  • INCOSE Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) or equivalent certification
  • 5 years system engineering management experience for fixed and mobile command & control centers.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$108,900 - $239,500
