The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Lead Data Analytics Engineer (Splunk) to play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and security of our Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) and Domain Name Service (DNS). You will be at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including machine learning and real-time monitoring tools, to provide valuable insights and drive improvements across our enterprise infrastructure. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytics using Splunk to support EIS, DNS, and HAIPE initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
  • Enhance and optimize real-time health and status monitoring tools
  • Contribute to the improvement of security and IT standards
  • Support Splunk cluster deployment and maturation


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Technical experience based on education level:
    • 4-12 years of experience, depending on education level (High School Diploma/GED to Doctorate)
    • All experience and education must be in a directly related technical field
  • Advanced experience with Splunk (frontend and backend)
  • Proficiency in Linux/RedHat v8/v9
  • Strong Python scripting skills
  • Experience with ETL processes and data analysis
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles
  • IAT Level 2 Certification


Desired:
  • Experience with MongoDB
  • Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • Background in machine learning and predictive analytics

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$120,800 - $265,800
