We are seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to join our team. In this role, you'll design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Python, Flask, Terraform, and AWS CDK. You'll automate deployment pipelines, manage infrastructure-as-code, and support services for defense and intelligence clients. Experience with Git, Jenkins, Bash or Shell scripting, and cloud environments like AWS and Azure is required. This hands-on position is ideal for someone passionate about cloud-native architectures and security in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash/Shell scripting
  • Experience with Flask for backend development
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK
  • Strong understanding of core AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudTrail, Lambda, and CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services (IAM, Networking, Security Groups)
  • Experience working in Linux environments and using Linux commands
  • Proficiency with Git version control
  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker
  • Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., subnets, routing, security groups)
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (preferably using Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of web servers such as Apache HTTPD and Nginx is a plus
  • Experience with ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS integration is desirable
  • Familiarity with REST API integration and front-end technologies such as React/JavaScript is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud solutions using AWS
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement infrastructure-as-code
  • Support the management and monitoring of cloud resources
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues
  • Contribute to documentation of cloud architectures and best practices
  • Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and trends
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with security and operational standards


Requirements

  • US citizenship required
  • An active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent military experienc
  • Employees must obtain the Security+ Certification by 90 days employment
