Compass Point Federal (Compass Point) is hiring a Program Manager supporting US Army Criminal Investigation Division. The program will operate, maintain, and secure the existing CIMS environment in support of the Army LE mission under DACID's expanding role in the law enforcement community.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifacted program/project consisting of a set of closely related subprograms.
  • Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management. Responsible for managing activities of external consultants and/or vendors. In-depth understanding of the field's concepts and principles.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
  • Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
  • Develops and maintains strategic plans. Serves as the principal point of representation and liaison to the government on operational matters and provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership.
  • Develops methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
  • Responsible for the oversight of both the daily operations/maintenance and the research/development of mission systems.
  • Responsible for timely staffing of qualified contractor personnel and subsequent availability to support the task order Performance Work Statement Requirements (PWS).
  • Reviews and/or conducts audits of information technology programs and projects.
  • Keeps the government informed on the status of all mission systems projects and programs.
  • Requires knowledge of cybersecurity principles, computer networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies, risk management framework and skills to identify measures or indicators of system performance and actions needed to improve, correct performance relative to the system goals.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret required for consideration.
  • MS/MA in Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or PMP with 10 years' experience or BA/BS in Information Systems Management, Information Technology with 12 years' experience.

Desired Qualifications
  • Law Enforcement Experience.
