About the Role:
Join a high-impact team supporting National Defense and Security. We’re looking for a mission-driven Senior Language Analyst fluent in Mandarin Chinese to deliver critical linguistic and analytical support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
-Collaborate with partners and stakeholders across the operational ecosystem
-Provide expert-level translation, transcription, summarization, and cultural interpretation
-Synthesize complex foreign language materials into actionable insights
-Mentor junior analysts and support tool adoption and tradecraft best practices
-Deliver timely, accurate, and mission-relevant support
Required Qualifications
-ILR 3/3 proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (reading and listening)
-Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
-Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
-Experience in at least one of the following:
-Translation, transcription, or interpretation
-U.S. military or government analytical roles
-STEM fields (e.g., computer science, cyber, telecom, space, weapons systems)
Preferred Qualifications
-Target development or metadata analysis
-Social network analysis
-Regional studies (China/East Asia) or research methodology
-Quantitative/statistical modeling or data science
-Cybersecurity or network engineering
-Language quality control experience
-Leadership experience as a senior analyst or team lead
-Coaching/mentoring language analysts
-Familiarity with internal tools and mission systems
-DLPT 5 (V) or other validated assessments showing ILR 3/3 proficiency
