Experience Requirement:
- Must have 5 Years / 60 Months of experience (minimum)
- Will not consider candidates with less than 5 years
- Looking for a combination of Developer + Tester, not a System Admin
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma + 14 years' experience
- Associate's Degree + 12 years' experience
- Bachelor's Degree + 5 years' experience
- Master's Degree + 1 year of experience
Position Summary:
Seeking a candidate who has:
- Secret clearance
- Experience in digital enhancement to ground/network architecture
- Experience in testing Unix and Linux, cloud migration, and implementation
- Text experience across one or more of the following domains:
- Windows, Linux, or Android
- Desired skills beyond a Java tester:
- Functional or migration testing
- Manual + automation scripting
- Python
- Must have a blend of developer and tester experience
Position Description:
The Test Engineer will interface with senior-level customers, warfighters, and leadership to:
- Plan and manage assignments, progress, and evaluate results
- Conduct integration and test activities on application software across platforms:
- System Drivers, Android Devices, Windows, Linux
- Develop detailed Software Test Plans and Test Reports
- Participate in software design and development meetings
- Identify and resolve system-level integration issues
- Coordinate with development teams to handle issues and requirements
- Test software builds and report on functionality/interface issues
- Understand and evaluate apps as a complete system
- Perform initial defect troubleshooting and classification
- Ensure software aligns with military tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Analyze test data, assess risks, and provide leadership briefings
- Upload test planning documents to government databases
- Interface with customers, vendors, and stakeholders
- Provide feedback on test trends, returns, and vendor performance
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Lab and hands-on debugging exposure
- Ability to support occasional travel
