Knowledge:
• Understanding of version control, change management, build automation, and release management.
• Familiarity with software acquisition, development, and sustainment processes within DoD environments
• 5 years’ experience with tools like Subversion (SVN), media burning software (Roxio, CDBurner, etc.), ISO creation software.
• Understanding of policies related to FIAR and DoD Configuration Management standards.
• Working knowledge of Jira or other issue tracking tools.
• Working knowledge of addressing formats to include FPO and APO
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications i.e. Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.
Skills
• Ability to work with developers, testers, and security teams to ensure controlled and secure releases.
• Familiarity with SBOM tools and compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination and stakeholders and documentation.
Abilities
• Ability to analyze complex configuration challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Ensure accuracy in software baselines, documentation, and compliance records.
• Work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with evolving security and compliance requirements.
• Proactively assess and mitigate security risks related to software configuration and releases.
• Ability to lead CM efforts, mentor junior team members, and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Ability to fulfill the requirements to obtain an admin token
