Celestar has an IMMEDIATE NEED and is actively seeking an Executive Assistant in support of the Department of Commerce. This position is located in Washington, DC.
CLEARANCE: TS/SCI
Location: Washington, D.C.
Salary Range: $90,000- $95,000

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs sensitive and highly visible administrative functions for a single or small group of Senior Executive(s).
- Often the first person corresponded with for the Executive.
- May perform or have access to activities of a highly confidential nature that may require comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices, and procedures. Administers specialized programs.
- May act as proxy for the executive.
- Administratively prepare, maintain, reconcile, transition and track new and existing digital and paper investigative case/work files.
- Plans and produces executive correspondence, operates general office equipment and is proficient with Office Suite software applications.
- Manages schedule and calendars.
- Assist Department of Commerce Investigations and Threat Management Service (ITMS) staff with administrative preparation involving legal process, case presentation, and/or prosecution.
- Perform and document various specified records checks.
- Coordinate and perform physical, operations, information, and communications security administrative assignments.
- Assist ITMS staff with applicant screening/vetting, personnel in/out processing.
- Prepare and coordinate travel, equipment inventories/maintenance, and assignment preparation/devolution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience performing secretarial and administrative duties to include planning and producing correspondence, reports, proposals, memos, and other documentation, operating spreadsheet software such as Excel to produce finished documents and poof reading completed documents
- Six (6) or more years of related experience
EDUCATION
- Associate's degree is required
