Job Description
Responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. The role can include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.
Responsibilities/Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
BA in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
Five years of experience in network administration
Five years of experience configuring Cisco switches
Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates
Current CCNA Security + Cert, TS/SCI
Network Design and Implementation:
Designing, planning, and implementing LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure.
Configuring and installing Cisco network switches
Implementing network security measures
Ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Monitoring network performance and identifying potential issues.
Troubleshooting network problems, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions.
Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and hardware upgrades.
Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates
Documenting network configurations and procedures.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
TS/SCI and willingness to obtain CI POLYGRAPH REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $100,000 - $220,000/YR (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
