Summary:

We are looking for a Logistics Support Representative to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division of the Measurement Science and Engineering Department, which performs metrology, tests, and monitoring systems assessments supporting the Naval Air Systems Command's (NAVAIR) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• P rovide laboratory logistics support to ensure that equipment is scheduled into the laboratory for calibration by direct interface with customer activities to determine their needs and priorities .
• M onitor equipment while in the laboratory so that proper priority is given to individual items; documentation is correctly and expeditiously input into the management and recall system MEASURE (NAVAIR Calibration software).
• S hall initiate follow-up actions on required material and coordinate with local supply as necessary.
• P erform duties as the laboratory HAZMAT coordinator.
• A ssist with scheduling pick-up and delivery of customer equipment as required by laboratory management or lead senior technician.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus .
• Proven experience in a logistics support, customer service, or related role.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Possess valid Driver's license.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field .

Pay and Benefits

Compensation for this position is: $29.45 hourly.
