The Naval Power, Electronic Airborne Systems Sub-Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Program Manager to support the Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band Production Sustainment portfolio. This position will specifically be responsible for overseeing the implementation of critical DoD and FMS Sustainment for all NGJ configurations. This position will require direct relationship and interface with both internal leadership and US Navy and Royal Australian Airforce (RAAF) customers.

The Sustainment Program Management will be a critical member of the Electronic Attack senior leadership team. This position will lead and manage a team and portfolio, acting as the lead customer interface. The role will set expectations and priorities for the portfolio, ensuring all customer needs are met and exceeded. A positive program culture is a critical element of the success of this program and therefore needs a leader who can drive this vision.

**This is an onsite position that can be located at either our McKinney, TX, Ft. Wayne, IN or Forest, MS facility.

What You Will Do:
  • Accountability for profit and loss, AOP and financial metrics for Sustainment contracts.
  • Execute and improve PM cadence and metrics such as risk review boards, schedule performance management, customer reviews, IPT/CPT reviews, failure review boards, program management reviews (PMRs), staffing reviews, and other reviews to achieve contract commitments.
  • Directly support risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
  • Meeting commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts, Finance, and/or administrative functions
  • Experience leading profit and loss (P&L) of DoD contracts as a program manager or functional leadership.
  • Experience managing, tracking, and/or reporting through EAC review and customer Program Management Reviews (PMR) or similar metrics.
  • Experience in program or project management managing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar program.


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience engaging and reporting out to all levels of executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources.
  • Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals and start-up packages for management review and approval.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functional disciplines, manage multipe tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a strong understanding or risk & opportunity management and mitigation/capture best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills necessary for interfacing with customers, suppliers, and team members with varying backgrounds and experience dealing with challenging situations.
  • Experience working with Field service personnel deployed supporting product across the globe.
  • Performance based logistics, test equipment development and/or repair depot standup experience.
  • Program Management Level-4 Certification (within 12 months of hire)

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
