ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is actively seeking a Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) Engineer
Position Overview
The Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) Engineer will support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) by designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing building automation and facility control systems. These systems include HVAC controls, lighting, security systems, and other automated systems that are critical to the efficient and secure operation of DoD facilities.

ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is actively seeking a Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) Engineer
Position Overview
The Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) Engineer will support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) by designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing building automation and facility control systems. These systems include HVAC controls, lighting, security systems, and other automated systems that are critical to the efficient and secure operation of DoD facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Develop and review design documents for new and existing FRCS installations. Ensure system designs comply with operational standards and cybersecurity requirements. Support and oversee system installation and commissioning processes.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on FRCS equipment. Troubleshoot system malfunctions and resolve issues in a timely manner. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and service activities.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement cybersecurity measures in compliance with DoD standards. Conduct regular system security assessments and audits. Develop and submit reports with recommendations to enhance cybersecurity posture.
- Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to facility personnel. Develop and deliver training on FRCS operations and maintenance.
- Provide monthly status reports on activities, challenges, and resolutions.
- Design and maintenance documentation for all projects.
- Conduct cybersecurity assessment reports.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Engineering degree in a related discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering)
- Active SECRET security clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain one)
- Tier 3 background investigation (NACLC)
- Certification per DoD 8140.01 (minimum IAT Level II; Level III preferred)
- Experience with FRCS systems including HVAC, lighting, and security systems
- Familiarity with applicable cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, RMF, STIGs)
- Minimum 8 years' experience.
- Strong knowledge of automated building systems integration
- Experience working with government or DoD facilities
- Position is primarily remote, but occasional on-site presence may be required.
- Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 0730-1730, excluding Federal holidays.
