Position Description: This position supports Linux/Unix Engineering Sustainment under ASRC Federal's CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP ensures that the U.S. Army's Linux/Unix systems are secure, reliable, and capable of supporting mission-critical operations. As a Software Engineer Senior II, you will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of these systems, ensuring their optimal performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Linux system administrator.
- Experience in participating in the development of test strategies, devices, and systems, and solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.
- Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and applicable DoD 8570.01-M Computing Environment certification.
- Secret security clearance.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 administration.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat Pacemaker clusters.
- Experience operating RHEL servers in AWS cloud environments.
- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Python, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Linux or other applicable Technical Certification.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of DoD security requirements and compliance (STIG/ACAS).
- Knowledge of ERP SAP environments.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Experience working in an Agile Framework environment.
- Experience in performing RHEL upgrades.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
