ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Business Analyst - Journeyman position to support our customer at the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) under the Modernization and Analytics Planning for AMC (MAPA) program.
This position is a remote role; however, the candidate must reside within the Continental United States (CONUS) and be available during standard Eastern/Central Time business hours.
The Business Analyst will contribute to the Army's modernization strategy by translating enterprise logistics and sustainment needs into actionable business requirements, documentation, and recommendations that support enterprise decision-making under the MAPA program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements in support of AMC's MAPA objectives
- Develop detailed business process models, use cases, and requirement specifications
- Perform workflow assessments and identify opportunities for process optimization
- Collaborate with Army stakeholders, program leadership, and technical teams to ensure solution alignment
- Support system implementations through testing, validation, and change management coordination
- Develop executive-level briefings, decision support materials, and program metrics
- Ensure all requirements traceability and documentation meets Army standards
- Participate in virtual working groups, IPTs, and planning sessions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (An additional 4 (4) years of relevant Business Analyst experience may substitute for the degree)
- At least seven (7) years of Business Analyst experience within the past 10 years
- Active Secret Security Clearance(Or able to obtain)
- This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s)."
- Strong background in gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis documentation standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous support experience with AMC or other U.S. Army logistics and sustainment programs
- Familiarity with the MAPA program or similar modernization initiatives
- Understanding of DoD acquisition, enterprise planning, and governance frameworks
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and other process mapping software
- Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall development life cycles
