Raytheon is seeking a Property Management Lead with advanced to expert-level knowledge of government property management to oversee and support the full lifecycle of assets in accordance with FAR 52.245-1. This role will manage moderately sized projects or processes, influence cross-functional initiatives, and play a key part in driving operational performance and compliance across complex government contracts and programs.
As a Property Management Lead, you will manage a team of professionals that lead end-to-end government property lifecycle processes with a focus on compliance, system integrity, and operational excellence in accordance with FAR 52.245-1, contractual obligations, and Raytheon's internal controls. Serving as a subject-matter expert, you will independently manage complex property issues, oversee system performance, and influence cross-functional asset management practices. This role includes driving process improvements, implementing corrective actions, managing inventories and asset transitions, supporting contract closeouts, and ensuring audit readiness. You will also mentor junior staff, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies, and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen accountability and compliance across all phases of property stewardship
This position requires working onsite in the Louisville, KY or Fort Wayne, IN location, as a manager of a property team to perform and support research, audits, analysis, and system transactions by creating, reviewing, approving, and correcting property records, reports, and systems.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do
- Manage a team of Property Professionals located at several Raytheon facilities responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle ("womb to tomb") of government and company-owned property in compliance with FAR 52.245-1 and other applicable regulations.
- Lead to moderately sized projects or initiatives with measurable impact on departmental and organizational goals.
- Provide expert guidance on property management practices and internal control procedures, influence process improvements across departments.
- Solve difficult and often complex issues through data analysis, prior experience, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Coach, delegate, and review the work of lower-level professionals; provide ongoing support for professional development.
- Drive process optimization initiatives, resulting in moderate to significant improvements in system performance and property accountability.
- Represent the property function in interactions with internal teams, external customers, vendors, and government entities.
- Always Ensure audit-readiness; support internal/external audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Participate in operational planning, including budget development, resourcing strategies, and program-level decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records and report across property systems; ensure smooth transitions during asset movement, transfers, and contract closeouts.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry trends; serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on compliance matters.
- Provide input into new systems, processes, or standards that align with Raytheon's broader business strategy and compliance framework.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
- Experience with Property Management, Inventory, or Logistics Management.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- NPMA certification.
- SAP experience or other property management system experience preferred.
- Experience supporting DCMA and customer audits.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to oversee complex tasks and cross-functional deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex, undefined issues with minimal oversight.
- Proven leadership and mentorship experience within a property management or compliance-focused role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders, including government representatives.
- Microsoft office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with FAR.
