The role of the Subject Matter Expert I is to provide customers with shipboard & shore systems installation support, systems sustainment support, groom support & trouble ticket support, (CONUS & OCONUS). This position reports directly to the VIDS Group in Chesapeake, VA.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
VTC operation, maintenance, and installation of video teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
Performing optimal system functionality through meticulous installation protocols and preventive maintenance routines.
AV programming and troubleshooting
Working as a team player supporting Shore based AV/VTC systems world wide.
Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and able to provide driving record upon request.
Willing to travel.
1-2 year of experience with video teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
AMX / Extron Knowledge.
Must be able to attain a security clearance.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
