Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide comprehensive systems engineering and integration support for the U.S. Navy. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in systems architecture, integration, and engineering lifecycle management. This role requires someone who can analyze complex systems, develop technical solutions, and ensure successful integration of multiple systems and subsystems. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

- Bachelor of Science degree: 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
- Master of Science degree: 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- PhD: 0-2 years of experience in a related field
Essential responsibilities, Functions, & Duties
- The Systems Engineer will provide the full spectrum of systems engineering activities to implement an efficient, cost-effective architecture for the SEP.
- The Systems Engineer will prepare and maintain architecture views to provide a foundational framework for representing Surf Eagle architecture across the program and determining interoperability within the organizations and across the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) and Department of Defense (DoD).
- The Systems Engineer will document existing production processes, including performance metrics to ensure the architecture is adequately managing existing requirements.
- The Systems Engineer will identify performance concerns and recommend solutions.
- The Systems Engineer will propose infrastructure changes that are in alignment with the approved architecture.
- The Systems Engineer will review other proposed infrastructure changes to ensure the proposal aligns with the approved architecture.
- The Systems Engineer will provide support to and assist in COMNAVMETOCCOM's transition to the Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise.
- The Systems Engineer will provide support in life cycle management, configuration management and change management.
- The Systems Engineer will advise the SEP PM on strategic needs for program evolution, including detailed roadmaps for Information Technology infrastructure based on requirements and resulting capabilities of national standards.
- The Systems Engineer will also attend and participate in forums during duty hours as required by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
