This position will be remote with a preference to be located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

The Optiv + ClearShark Partner Operations Specialist will support the Senior Director of Contracts, Capture & Partners daily to assist in the success of the Partner & Alliances organization and Partner Operations goal of driving overall productivity and effectiveness within the partner organization, by building process and system optimization. This position is a hybrid-remote position. Candidate must be able to attend vendor and company meetings, as required, in the DC-metro area.

How you'll make an impact
  • Supports Partner Solutions Operations with day-to-day operational functions and requests from other departments such as; Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Legal.
  • Support Senior Director and Sr. Manager of Vendor Management with special projects and administrative duties.
  • Triage and field requests to Partner Solutions Operations from various internal teams and partners.
  • Manage vendor profiles at all times to ensure vendor information is accurate and up to date, retain listings and login information for all partner portals and how to navigate them.
  • Manage monthly tracking and verification of rebates owed Optiv + ClearShark, Partner Metric tracking, Website updates, Slack Channels, assist in coordinating partner enablement, as well as Support Partner Solutions SPE's when requested for special projects.
  • Manage vendor partner certification requirements to ensure Optiv + ClearShark maintains partner status/level. This requires coordination with the Sales, Engineering and Professional Services organization.s
  • Maintain Partner Solutions Libraries content Update, Maintain new partner request information Submit invoices, track and report rebate information to and from partners, Partner Ops and finance.
  • Coordinate daily management of Transactional partners. Manage inquiries regarding authorized partners including supporting sales and sales ops.
  • Assist with negotiating contracts with new authorized partners and coordinate with legal team to manage contracts completed and executed.
  • Assist with getting Optiv rolled into the vendor's partner programs working with authorized partners to maximize potential margin and pipeline growth.
  • Attend scheduled and Ad Hoc calls for Partner Solutions as well as other departments other duties as needed / assigned.
  • Manage Supplier Portal registrations, logins and PO dissemination.


What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year College or University
  • 2-3+ years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, creativity, and initiative
  • Understanding of information security industry required, to include knowledge of leading industry vendors and products
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, including the ability to listen and communicate effectively with all partners
  • Ability to work in conjunction with multiple Vendor Partner Managers/Vendor Channel Managers and Optiv + ClearShark Executive Managers
  • Overall attention to accuracy and detail with regard to contracts, reports to executive management, documentation of events and meetings, spiffs, partner negotiations, and all written and verbal communication
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience working with sales leadership and ability to influence others cross-functional.
