We're looking for a Records Management Specialist with a strong background in federal records compliance and Intelligence Community policies to support a critical national security customer. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Records Management Group (RMG) in ensuring compliance with the Federal Records Management Act, CFR, USC, and applicable IC/NARA policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Records Control Schedules (RCS) and maintain documentation for both digital and physical records.
- Coordinate with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to evaluate and update RCSs.
- Deliver records management training to customer personnel and develop written training materials.
- Provide support for physical records archiving efforts and electronic records system implementation.
- Advise customer offices on the reorganization of shared drives and records lifecycle best practices.
- Coordinate Privacy Act SORN submissions with the Civil Liberties, Privacy, and Transparency (CLPT) office.
- Participate in IC-wide records management committees and maintain compliance documentation.
- 3+ years of experience in records management or federal compliance environments.
- Strong knowledge of NARA regulations, Records Control Schedules (RCS), and federal RM best practices.
- Experience developing office file plans (OFPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Comfortable training groups and advising senior leadership on records processes and policy.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across government offices and Intelligence Community elements.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (required).
- Experience implementing electronic records management systems (ERMS).
- Prior work with the Intelligence Community or military records environments.
- Familiarity with Privacy Act submissions, CUI handling, and compliance reporting.
- Training or certification in Information Governance, Records Management, or related fields.
