Core Responsibility:
Leading a development team of 15-20 FTE’s focused on storing and managing system SSR data using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
The Work:
Developing and implementing complex solutions utilizing AWS native technologies
Ensuring the development team stays on schedule and is able to meet programmatic milestones
Represents the team at customer meetings, TEMs and contributes to the team agile planning ceremonies
Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
Agile development and delivery of software
Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 15 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree plus 13 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree plus 17 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma/GED plus 19 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
Required Technical Skills:
Java, Spring boot or python
OpenSearch and ElasticSearch
Microservice architectures
CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible
Database : NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber
Previous team leadership experience is desired but not required.
Knowledge of UTT or targeting is desired
