Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, Systems Administrator (JNY) to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team, you will help to assist USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally.
Job description:
Systems Administrator (JNY) performs tier one and two network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. Experience with specific types of hardware and software systems used by the Government is required. Provide support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for computer systems. Monitor and control one or more mid-range application servers. This position studies program operating instructions to ensure proper configuration and effective operations. Observe the operation of assigned applications and storage devices to prevent hardware or software failure. This position manipulates systems in accordance with standard procedures to ensure operations when individual parts of a system malfunction. Troubleshoot and configure systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when individual units of a system malfunction. Confer with senior administrators, system and application engineers, and storage personnel to correct errors requiring a change of instructions or sequences of operations. Maintain operating records such as machine performance and production reports.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Install operating system software, patches, and upgrades.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Configure, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware.
- Perform system backups and recovery.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for conducting server host and virtual machine builds on prem and cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Horizon VDI components.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for VDI Environment.
- Provide Systems Administrator support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for computer systems.
- Maintain file servers, network access.
- Troubleshoot and document systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
- This position requires shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.
Required Qualifications:
- A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
- One of the following Systems certifications: CompTIA Server+ certification, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification, VMware Certified Associate (VCA); AWS Sys Ops Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate; Nutanix Certified Professional OR Microsoft Endpoint Manager or previous SCCM certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- One of the following certifications to comply with DoD 8140: Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, GSEC, FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP-Security, CCSP
Education:
- BS + 2 years of experience OR MS + 0 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA + 4 yrs of experience.
Clearance:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
