Responsibilities
- This AM2 will monitor maintenance activities and ensure that the daily flight schedule requirements are met.
- Receives technical guidance from the aircraft maintenance supervisor and may be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft maintenance tasks.
- Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
- Assists in planning for TDY trip support and providing logistical assistance from home station.
- Provides technical guidance to team.
- Will be required to work on aircraft as needed.
- Will serve as a TDY road lead as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Minimum of 6 years of rotary wing maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in the MH-6 MDS.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of MH-6 aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and repair procedures. General knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair. General knowledge of electrical and avionics procedures and operations.
- Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools, special tools, and test equipment.
- Must have working knowledge of technical publications and must be familiar with ACN and Hydra applications.
- Must have own tools/toolbox.
- Must be able to complete TDY trips of 1-2 weeks away from home sation.
- Must have good leadership skills, to include strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a basic physical to operate equipment and operate on the flight line.
